Muntaha Amin is a researcher, a doctoral student in the University of Kashmir and an independent woman film practitioner. She identifies as a Kashmiri Muslim Woman and tells stories from living this triply marginalised identity.
Her debut film, Siege in the Air documents the lived experiences of young Kashmiri women in perpetual precarity and unending lockdowns in Kashmir centering around the communication blockade of 2019 post the Article 370 abrogation. She works as a narrative editor, cultural consultant and film practitioner on freelance film and multimedia projects.
